Hilton McConnico Table Knife "Apostrophe"
Born in Memphis Tennessee in 1943, Hilton McConnico is "just" a painter, decorator, photographer, designer, set designer. Wielding the color better than anyone, he creates a world steeped in poetry and humor.

He has received numerous awards for his design creations that have entered the permanent collections of many museums around the world.

By signing this piece amazing, Hilton McConnico reinterprets the traditional codes of the knife of the Forge de Laguiole with this bold light of its own.

Satin stainless steel blade gently curved on the false-edged bows his neck to file on the fly in staggered geometry of the neck, a maple neck that runs while the softening, the curve of bending and slips into a wraparound back bolsters: this is a Laguiole, the matter is heard! He has the strength and balance, thanks to the surprisingly broad base of the handle allows the knife to hold landed without the blade touching the table surface. Then look away for a moment. When he returned, for anamorphic, the object has changed and they are two wings, the silhouette of a mallard sliding on the water that are discovered. The magic worked. A room full of poetry that happily married knows great functionality and evocative power.
